Mentoring

I've been in the design education space for over a decade (since 2012). Presently, I'm an adjunct faculty at Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune, a visiting faculty and jury member at various other institutes. In my last full-time role, I was serving as the Head of Product Design at MITID, Pune. The courses I most often conduct are product form, emotive design, semantics, and complex product design.

Public speaking and interaction sessions are the best experiences and come natural to me. Here are a few notable mentions.

As an expert representing India at the World Skills forum for Industrial Design, I had the opportunity to lecture a cohort of Russian designers on 'Emotive Design' (2020). Courtesy: MITID, Pune.

It was very satisfying to give a talk on 'design entrepreneurship' at ADYPU School of Design, Pune (March 2024) where I shared my personal learnings.

It was an honor to be the chief guest for Convocation Day at SR University Warangal, where I shared the 'Need for Design Innovation Culture' with the graduating batch of engineers (2017).

In April 2021, I gave an expert online talk on 'Organic Form Design' to young designers of India organized by studio IDI, Bengaluru.
